Calgary police seek suspect in indecent act investigation

Calgary police are looking for a man accused of exposing himself to passing motorists in the city’s south end last week.

The incident happened along Macleod Trail north of Southland Drive just before 10 a.m. on May 21.

A man was reported as having flashed oncoming traffic from a bus stop on the east side of the roadway before getting into a vehicle and heading west on Southland.

In a Monday morning release, police said such behaviour “will not be tolerated in our community.”

“Calgarians deserve to feel safe at all times in their communities,” Insp. Scott Neilson said.

Police are looking for a man described as being between 30 and 40 years old, tall with a slim build, with dark curly or wavy hair.

He’s said to have worn darker jeans and a black hoodie at the time of the incident.

The vehicle he left in is described as a grey or silver 2002 Acura EL.
