Investigation continues into an early August incident involving incendiary devices being thrown into a backyard in Brooks, Alta. Police say that at 1:34 a.m. on Aug. 2, they responded to a report of an unknown person throwing two incendiary devices toward the backyard of a home on South Shore Drive, starting a small, contained fire on the deck. After throwing the devices, the suspect fled the area. Officers say there were also a few broken windows on a truck parked at the residence. A window to the basement was also damaged. No one was physically injured during the incident. On Aug. 14, Brooks RCMP released photos of a suspect vehicle, a white Chevrolet GMC with a crew cab that has a tonneau cover and a chrome accent that runs along the side of the bottom of the door.
