Banff Sunshine Village is opening for another ski season Sunday. The ski resort will have its Strawberry Express chair open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with all terrain off of Strawberry open including a 12-feature terrain park with two lines, one for beginners and one for everyone else. The Sunshine Gondola will be open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and the Mitey Mite Conveyor Lift will be running as well. Opening day lift tickets will be available for $70. Since it’s Halloween weekend -- and World Series weekend, as it turned out, for Jays fans. The staff are encouraging guests to dress in their costumes or Blue Jays gear for Halloween and World Series weekend. Staff members will be skiing around handing out vouchers to Halloween cosplayers or those celebrating the Blue Jays. For more information about Banff Sunshine Village, go here.
