An upcoming art show will feature thousands of original pieces for sale from local artists, all for less than $100. Art Spot Calgary’s Under $100 Art Show takes place at a downtown venue – 1111 Ninth Ave. S.W. – from Dec. 4 to 7 and 11 to 14. Art Spot founder Emma Justine says it’s the 18th year for the event. “It’s amazing to see how this show has grown, and how excited people still get, year after year. “We’ve built something that’s become a tradition in this city.” The show will include everything from paintings and ceramics to jewelry and photography. “We have a team of elves constantly re-hanging the space — no matter when you come, the show is fully stocked,” Justine said.
