A heavy police presence in Canoe Square has ended, Airdrie RCMP said on Sunday morning. In a 10 a.m. update, the police force said they have cleared the area around Canoe Square. Earlier Sunday, they asked motorists to avoid the area. No other details were released. Investigation continues.
