MONTREAL - Bombardier Transportation (TSX:BBD.B) said Monday that it has signed a contract valued at $199 million with the State of Florida Department of Transportation for operations and maintenance services.

The contract covers operations, dispatching, fleet maintenance, track maintenance, customer service, station platform and facility maintenance, and material supply for the Central Florida Commuter Rail Transit project.

The company, which will assume its responsibilities in the spring of 2014, said the agreement includes mobilization activities and 10 years of service.

The SunRail service will include 20 Bombardier BiLevel commuter rail cars.

Bombardier provides operations and maintenance services to transit systems across North America.
