CALGARY — WestJet says it has signed a codeshare partnership with Qatar Airways that will make it easier to travel to Doha. Under the agreement, WestJet will start by placing its airline code on Qatar Airways’ non-stop flights to Doha from Toronto and Montreal. Passengers travelling on codeshare itineraries will benefit from co-ordinated connections, the ability to earn WestJet loyalty rewards on their full trip and through-checked baggage. Qatar Airways will place its code on select WestJet-operated flights from Toronto and Montreal. The agreement will allow Qatar Airways passengers to connect to 11 Canadian destinations, including Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, St. Johns, N.L., and Winnipeg.
