Witnesses call 911 on rude driver

After watching a driver swerving and passing vehicles across the solid yellow line, witnesses had had enough when the driver also began tossing beer cans out the car window.

Police say several witnesses called the Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday, who responded to the area near 6802 County Road 10 in Essa Township.

Police found the vehicle at a gas station and determined the 25-year-old Bradford man was impaired.

The Bradford man faces impaired driving charges and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford on September 18 to answer to the charge.
