Barrie Police say road rage is a common occurrence, so much so that “numerous” calls are made to police for road rage incidents every week. In a video posted to social media, Barrie police’s Detective Constable Ron Hunt refers to a recent arrest and dangerous operation charge as a recent example of a road rage investigation. Earlier this week, a child in Barrie was allegedly struck in the face during a road rage incident as well. RELATED: Child suffers injury following road rage incident The officer in the video goes on to remind residents to drive courteously, follow the rules of the road, drive the speed limit and use turn signals when appropriate. The officer also reminds residents to call 911 if they encounter someone in a road rage incident and allow officers to deal with the situation.
