Four teens are facing charges following a collision involving an allegedly stolen vehicle on Highway 11 in Gravenhurst on Thursday evening. Provincial police officers responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash in the northbound lanes near Sedore Road around 7 p.m., and say the vehicle missed a rock cut before crashing into the ditch. “None of the occupants suffered any significant injuries,” police confirmed. Police say the investigation revealed the involved vehicle had been stolen on Sunday in New Brunswick. The driver, an 18-year-old from Moncton, NB, faces charges of dangerous operation, operation while prohibited, obstructing a peace officer, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and three counts of failing to comply with a release order. Police say they also charged a 14-year-old and two 15-year-olds, all from Moncton, NB, in relation to the stolen vehicle. The four accused are scheduled to appear in court in Bracebridge to answer to the charges.
