Six suspects allegedly stole $300K worth of merch from 400 market

Police say the six suspects arrived in a light-coloured van and stole approximately $300K worth of merchandise.

A vendor at the 400 flea market has allegedly had $300,000 worth of merchandise stolen.

South Simcoe police are looking for the public’s help in finding six suspects who they say arrived in a van and robbed the vendor in a parking lot at Innisfil Beach Road and Industrial Park Road Sunday morning at around 9:15.

Police say they have video footage and are releasing a photo in case anyone has any information.

The vehicle is described as a 2008 blue Toyota Sienna.

Investigators say the driver was wearing a black baseball cap wearing a blue medical mask, white collared jacket and black joggers.

The first passenger was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black joggers. The second passenger was wearing a black hat, black hooded sweatshirt and black joggers. The third passenger was wearing a black hat, black hoodie with white design on shoulders and back and black joggers. The fourth passenger was wearing a white hat, blue coat and grey joggers. The fifth passenger was wearing a black hat, black coat and blue jeans.

Everyone in the vehicle was wearing a blue medical mask.

Police say the incident appears to be isolated and there is no ongoing risk to public safety.
