Dufferin Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a school bus driver with stunt driving after she was seen driving 100 kilometres-per-hour in a posted 50 km/h zone. OPP were conducting traffic enforcement near County Road 17 and Prince of Wales Road in Mulmur when they say they saw a school bus speeding down the road on Monday at around 4 p.m. Officers stopped the bus and spoke with the driver about the alleged excessive speed, particularly given that children were on board the bus at the time of the offence. As a result of the investigation, a 56-year-old Beeton woman has been charged with: Police say this incident is particularly concerning given the location. Just over five weeks ago, the same intersection was the scene of a fatal two-vehicle collision.
