Premier holiday arts and crafts show marks the beginning of holiday shopping

The public can browse through more than 150 booths that offer unique works of art by artisans across Ontario.

An opportunity to give a one-of-a-kind gift awaits this season at the 29^th Annual Barrie Christmas Arts and Crafts Show & Sale.

Holiday shopping season is officially getting underway at the Paul Sadlon Arena in Barrie this weekend.

From Friday to Sunday, the public can browse through over 150 booths filled with unique works of art crafted by artisans all across the province. Artisan jewelry, gourmet treats, ceramics pottery, stained glass, beauty products, and woodcrafts are just some of the products available for purchasing.

Door prizes will be given away on each day of the weekend including Barrie Colts hockey tickets, Harlem Globetrotter tickets, and Four Hotel California, The Original Eagles Tribute tickets.

Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and children 12 and under are free.

The show runs Nov. 7 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
