If your home was broken into between October and February, police may now have your stolen items. York Regional police investigators with the Integrated Property Crime Task Force have recovered numerous items as part of Project Payday, after arresting and charging a 73-year-old man from Caledon on March 19. Police have now compiled images of all the seized items, including jewelry and watches, in hopes of returning them to their rightful owners. Anyone who experienced a residential break-and-enter is being asked to review the photos available online and contact police if they recognize any property. There is a verification process in place before any items are returned. The suspect now faces a charge of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 for the purpose of trafficking.
