Midhurst Railway Crossing temporarily closed for maintenance work

The Midhurst Railway Crossing on Highway 26 will be temporarily closed for maintenance repairs beginning Wednesday, says the Township of Springwater.

The closure, being carried out by ETS Infrastructure Management, is expected to remain in place until Thursday at 8 p.m.

The township says Highway 26 will be closed between Bayfield Street and Wilson Drive, with the closure point at the railway tracks near Anne Street.

Drivers are asked by the township to avoid the area and use alternate routes, as traffic delays and disruptions are expected over the next two days.
