Michael Jackson tribute, Menopause the Musical sequel, something for everyone at Casino Rama

The concert lineup at Casino Rama just keeps growing.

The resort has added six more shows to this year’s stacked lineup with a little something for everyone.

A rising star comedian, Mark Normand, who has a recent Netflix special will perform a stand-up show on May 8 at 9 p.m. Normand’s self-released special on YouTube got over 12 million views. Veteran comedian and star of the classic sitcom Seinfeld, Jerry Seinfeld, says Norman is the “best young up and coming comic.”

Michael Jackson fans will get the chance to relive the king of pop’s iconic, final world tour with the Michael Jackson HIStory Show. The show will be complete with a live band, choreographed dancers, unique costumes and state-of-the-art production.

For musical theatre lovers, Menopause the Musical is making a return with a sequel of the comedic and heartwarming take on menopause and women’s friendships. The antics will be backed by a new soundtrack comprised of hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Menopause the Musical 2: Cruising Through ‘The Change,’ will hit the stage May 22 at 8 p.m.

Whatever genre of music strikes your fancy, there’s a show for all tastes.

For rock fans, classic Canadian rock band Honeymoon Suite along with fellow Canadian rockers Streetheart will join forces on May 16 at 8 p.m. Honeymoon Suite is known for hits like “New Girl Now” and “Feel It Again.” Streetheart’s hits include “Here Comes the Night” and “One More Time.”

Italian music fans can look forward to Da Vinci – Leali, two Italian voices coming together for a series of duets and hits on May 24.

Known for their smooth harmonies and intricate storytelling, 90s country group Shenandoah are slated to perform on May 15 at 9 p.m. The group has won several awards including Grammys, and honours at the Country Music Awards and American Country Music awards. Some of their classic hits are “Two Dozen Roses” and “Next to You, Next to Me.”

Tickets for these shows, which range in price from $30 to $119, will go on sale on Thursday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
