A man is facing impaired driving charges after a traffic stop in Gravenhurst Friday evening. Provincial police say they saw a vehicle commit an infraction on Phillip Street and conducted a routine traffic stop. After a short investigation, a 62-year-old man from Oakville was charged with operation while impaired – Over 80 and careless driving. The male will appear in court later this month. Bracebridge OPP report they have charged 37 drivers this year and say impaired driving continues to be a significant factor affecting the roads in the Muskoka region. Officers are reminding the public to call 911 if they believe someone is driving impaired.
