Man arrested after driving truck down Owen Sound park path

A 31-year-old man has been arrested after driving his truck down a walking path in an Owen Sound park.

Police say officers responded to the incident following a call from a concerned citizen who observed a truck driving on the pedestrian path.

When police arrived, officers noted signs of alleged impairment from the driver. The man was subsequently arrested at the park.

Owen Sound police say his vehicle was impounded and his driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days.
