The London Majors and Barrie Baycats came out swinging in the first inning combining for five runs but it was the eight runs scored in the fourth inning that proved to be the difference as the Majors defeated the Baycats 13-4 at Athletic Kulture Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The game stayed 3-2 until the top of the fourth inning when Starling Joseph hit a solo home run to left field. The Majors scored 7 more runs in the top half. Wandy Ciprian homered to left field in the seventh inning to give the home fans something to cheer about but it was not enough to start a comeback. The Baycats look to turn things around today when they travel to Kitchener to face the Panthers. The two teams meet for the second time this season. First pitch is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. at Jack Couch Park.
