Looking to add holiday magic to your weekend? Alliston’s largest fair craft show returns

The two-day event drew in thousands of visitors all searching for the perfect handmade holiday treasure.

Looking to add a little holiday magic to your weekend?

The 42nd Annual Sugar Plum Fair Craft Show is back this Saturday and Sunday, bringing more than 100 vendors from across Ontario to the Nottawasaga Resort in Alliston.

Members say this long-running event draws over 6,000 visitors each year.

If you’re searching for a unique gift this holidays, you could stumble across your favourite chocolates, jams, cookies and sauces, quilts, candles, ceramics, stained glass and wreaths.

Guests can find a blend of returning favourites along with new artisans showcasing their creations throughout the two-day event.

The decades-long fair is held inside the Resort Trade Centre, which is wheelchair accessible and includes an on-site concession for snacks and lunch.

All the items displayed at the show are handcrafted by the crafters themselves.

Saturday’s event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday’s is happening between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
