A stretch of summer weather is moving into Barrie this week, with temperatures climbing into the low 30s. According to Environment Canada, Monday is expected to be sunny with a high of 26 C, while Tuesday could feel as hot as 34 with the humidex, before possible thunderstorms move in. The warm weather continues through the middle of the week, with daytime highs reaching 30 C on Wednesday and 31 C on Thursday. The national weather agency says both days carry a chance of showers. Friday could reached 29 C with a 30 per cent chance of rain. Temperatures ease heading into the weekend, with highs of 25 C on Saturday and 22 C on Sunday under a mix of sun and cloud. There is also a slight chance of showers to cap off the weekend. Environment Canada says UV levels will be very high throughout the start of the week, sitting at 9.
