Commuters who rely on the Barrie GO line may want to take an extra glance at the schedule before heading out the door, as even a one-minute shift could decide whether you’re catching your train or watching it pull away. Metrolinx is advising all riders that starting Monday, some trains will depart up to two minutes earlier or later, depending on the station. The changes are being put in place to better suit actual travel times and improve reliability across the line. Meanwhile, starting Saturday, seasonal GO bus services return, ready to connect riders to popular attractions across the region. Routes 47W and 52X will be running on weekends, connecting residents and tourists directly to Canada’s Wonderland. Commuters are encouraged to review updated schedules in advance and plan their trips accordingly, as schedule changes are taking place across multiple GO Transit lines.
