After a few clouds and rain heading into the weekend, mother nature has cleared the sky for the last weekend in June. For many, this weekend marks the first weekend of the summer as schools around the region have begun their summer break. According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) mainly sunny conditions are in store for both Saturday and Sunday with highs of 26 and 27 degrees. On Saturday, the humidex will make the temperature feel closer to 30 degrees with an UV index of eight or very high. For Sunday, similar conditions throughout the region with a high of 27 degrees feeling like 30. One change for Sunday will be the lower UV rating of one or very low.
