The sweet relief of a drink from a bottle of formula is the first step of many for a young fawn on the road to recovery. Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary shared a photo of the fawn being treated following an accident. According to the wildlife sanctuary, the fawn was hit by a car and suffered severe head trauma. Since then, he’s been in the care of the facility. “We’re very happy to see these small steps in the right direction,” the organization said in a post about the fawn on Tuesday. The post also featured a video of the fawn drinking from a bottle, something caretakers say is an “encouraging sign.”
