OPP in Gravenhurst are investigating a fatal collision in Gravenhurst that happened on Friday. According to OPP, officers and EMS responded to a serious collision on Gravenhurst Parkway near Reay Road on Friday afternoon. The collision involved a motorcycle and vehicle and while emergency response-initiated life saving measures, they were unsuccessful. A 21-year-old man from Brampton who was driving the motorcycle died from his injuries. The individuals in the motor vehicle sustained minor injuries and one was transferred to hospital as a precaution. Gravenhurst Parkway was closed for several hours but has since reopened. At this time no charges have been laid.
