Collision at GO Station, Barrie Police seeking driver

The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. on April 29 at the GO transit parking lot.

Barrie Police say the search is on for a dark coloured pickup truck believed to be involved in a collision on April 29.

Police allege the pickup struck a vehicle in the parking lot of the Barrie South GO Transit station on Yonge Street around 7:30 a.m.

According to police, while attempting to exit the parking lot, the pickup truck struck the front driver side of a grey, four-door Kia parked beside it, causing “significant” damage to both the bumper and the front panel.

Authorities say several bystanders are believed to have witnessed the incident and the truck will have visible damage to the passenger side rear door and rear panel over the tire.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have information that could help identify the vehicle or driver is asked to contact Barrie Police.
