For the last official weekend of summer on the calendar, pleasant, fall-like conditions are expected for your Sunday across the region. The sun will feel warm on your skin, but with cooler mornings and evenings, you may want to bring a jacket with you if you’re heading out. Most communities in Simcoe County and Muskoka will get a sun and cloud mix with a high of 19 C, according to Environment Canada. There is a small chance of showers in the morning, but don’t put away your sunscreen and hat just yet as it’ll be a UV index of 6 or high. You can expect a cooler Sunday evening with sweater weather upon us as the temperature dips down to a low of 7 C. The national weather centre says this type of weather is expected to continue on Monday and into the first day of fall as we welcome the new season on Tuesday. It will be much the same all week with forecasters calling for a mix of sun and cloud with daytime highs between 15 C and 19 C, along with single-digit lows.
