Lexus will unveil the NX, its new compact crossover, at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show. The vehicle will be a direct descendent of the LF-NX concept car exhibited at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2013.

In China later this month, Toyota's premium brand will reveal a new production vehicle that will likely resemble the LF-NX. The concept car stands out for its immense trapezoidal front grille bordered by independent daytime running lights. At the rear, the light clusters extend all the way down the bumper.

The interior, meanwhile, is built around a driver-centered cockpit designed to offer optimal ergonomics. Sculpted metal structures are combined with black and yellow leather upholstery and sophisticated blue lighting for the dashboard instruments and controls. As is the case on several Lexus models, the dashboard is divided into two parts, an upper display zone and lower operation zone.

The Lexus NX will be presented to the press ahead of the Beijing Auto Show, which takes place from April 23 to 29.
