Two people have been arrested in Charlottetown after police seized fentanyl during a targeted traffic stop. Charlottetown police stopped the vehicle on July 7. According to a news release from the force, officers “seized 62 grams of fentanyl, cash, cell phones and other drug paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.” As a result of the investigation, Graydon Hearn, 27, and Rebecca Cairns, 39, have both been charged with possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking. Police say Hearn was remanded in custody, and Cairns was released on a release order. Both are scheduled to appear in court on Thursday. For more P.E.I. news, visit our dedicated provincial page.
