A 40-year-old Prince County man has been arrested for impaired driving, according to Summerside, P.E.I., police. Officers received a call around 8:20 p.m. Sunday reporting a vehicle driving erratically in the north Granville Street area. They attended the area and reportedly found the vehicle in a McDonald’s parking lot with the driver seated on the roof of the vehicle, drinking an alcoholic beverage. “The man showed significant signs of impairment and was arrested at the scene. He later refused to provide breath samples and was lodged in jail overnight,” reads a social media update from Summerside Police Service.
