A 37-year-old man from Weymouth, N.S., wanted on a provicewide warrant has been arrested in connection with an alleged armed robbery, kidnapping, and vehicle theft in the community. According to a news release from RCMP on Tuesday, Shaun Alan Thibodeau is charged with: Police informed the public on Monday two others had been arrested related to the case. Ronda Lynne Anne McCullough, 27, of Yarmouth and Casey Anne Fitzgerald, 32, of Weymouth face similar charges and remain in custody. “The victim, a 24-year-old man from Digby, was in a vehicle with two women parked in the 7100 block of Hwy. 101 in Plympton when an unknown man approached and forced him into the passenger seat at gunpoint,” reads the initial release from RCMP. The three suspects then allegedly drove the victim to an ATM, where he was forced to withdraw cash, before dropping him off at another location and fleeing in his Mercedes-Benz. McCullough and Fitzgerald appeared in Annapolis Royal provincial court on Aug. 19 and are set to appear again at later dates. Police have not said if a court date has been set for Thibodeau.
