Shelburne man wanted for sexual assault, uttering threats arrested: N.S. RCMP

A Shelburne, N.S., man who was wanted on numerous charges, including sexual assault, has been arrested.

The RCMP first said it was looking for 46-year-old Jamie Leon Enslow in May, after a provincewide warrant was issued for his arrest.

Police said Friday that Enslow was safely arrested in Shelburne on Thursday.

Enslow is facing more than a dozen charges:

• two counts of failing to comply with order
• sexual assault
• assault causing bodily harm
• assault
• two counts of obstructing justice
• break and enter
• uttering threats to cause death
• two counts of intimidation of a justice system participant
• repeated telephone calls
• mischief

Enslow is due to appear in Yarmouth provincial court on Monday.
