Person arrested after barricading themselves inside home: N.S. RCMP

RCMP arrested a person in Ship Harbour, N.S., after they barricaded themselves inside a home, said a public advisory on social media Saturday night.

Police responded to the 13,200 block of Hwy. 7 around 6:30 p.m. They said the person was alone and may have been armed but there was no threat to anyone outside the residence.

An update at 6:40 p.m. said the person was in custody.
