Police trying to identify drivers, passengers after shots fired in Dartmouth, N.S.

Halifax police are looking for two vehicles in connection with a shooting.

Police are trying to identify the drivers and passengers of two vehicles after gunshots were fired in Dartmouth, N.S., Tuesday evening.

Halifax Regional Police received several reports of gunshots heard near Alfred Street around 6:50 p.m.

“Officers located shell casings in the area, but no one was found with injuries,” said police in a news release Wednesday.

Investigators say there were two vehicles in the area at the time and they’re trying to identify the drivers and passengers.

One vehicle is described as silver Honda Civic. The second is described as a dark-coloured sedan.
