Pictou County woman facing charges after $10K worth of cocaine seized from home

Police say cocaine, cash, scales, baggies, scoresheets and a cellphone were seized during a search of a home in Trenton, N.S. (RCMP)

A woman from Nova Scotia’s Pictou County is facing charges after $10,000 worth of cocaine was seized from a home.

Police executed a search warrant at the home on Maple Street as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation last Wednesday.

The 41-year-old woman was arrested at the scene.

Police say cocaine, cash, scales, baggies, scoresheets and a cellphone were seized during a search of the home.

The estimated street value of the seized cocaine is approximately $10,000, according to an RCMP news release.

Taryn Elizabeth Davidson of Trenton has been charged with:

• possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
• possession of property obtained by crime

She was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Pictou provincial court on Aug. 10.
