Police are investigating a shooting in Dartmouth that left one man dead. Officers with Halifax Regional Police were called to Lahey Road Friday around 10:30 p.m. When they arrived, police said they found a 39-year-old man who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said this shooting is being treated as a homicide. They do not believe it was a random incident. The investigation is being led by the Major Crime Unit.
