RCMP in Digby, N.S., says an inspection of an illegal cannabis storefront led to the seizure of cannabis as well as tickets being issued earlier this week. Police say they attended the storefront on the 300 block of Highway 303 on Tuesday to conduct an inspection under the Nova Scotia Cannabis Control Act. During the inspection, police seized illegal cannabis in various forms, hashish, cash, unstamped tobacco and vape products. Two men at the story were issued tickets under the Cannabis Act for operating a store selling cannabis without being an authorized seller. One of the men was arrested for an outstanding warrant on an unrelated matter. Police say they conducted an inspection at the same storefront in December 2025. The investigation is ongoing.
