Arrest warrant issued for N.S. man accused of sex assault, criminal harassment

Police in Cumberland County are looking for a 38-year-old man who is wanted for numerous offences, including sexual assault and criminal harassment.

The RCMP says a provincewide arrest warrant has been issued for Jerrad Wade Patriquin of Westchester, N.S.

Westchester is facing the following charges:

• sexual assault
• two counts of assault by choking, suffocating or strangling
• criminal harassment
• assaulting a police officer
• resisting or obstructing a peace officer
• possession of property obtained by crimes
• three counts of failing to comply with probation

Patriquin is described as six-foot-one and more than 165 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes.

Police are asking anyone with information on Patriquin’s whereabouts to contact Cumberland County District RCMP at 902-667-3859 or their local police force.
