Two men have been charged with drug-related offences following a traffic stop in Reids Hill, N.S. Officers with the Shelburne RCMP Detachment conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet Equinox travelling on Highway 3 around 9:30 p.m. Sunday as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. “Officers safely arrested the two occupants of the vehicle and seized quantities of cocaine, scales, cellular phones, and cash,” reads a news release from the Nova Scotia RCMP. Sixty-eight-year-old Arthur Douglas Thomas of Barrington, N.S., and 23-year-old Jahquan Stuart Downey-Thomas of Mississauga, Ont., have each been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine) and possession of property obtained by crime.
