Saint John police looking for man serving 2-year sentence for assaulting officer, break in

The Saint John Police Force is looking for a man serving a two-year sentence for several assault charges.

Police say Brady Crain, 30, breached the conditions of his statutory release. A Canada-wide warrant for him was issued on Saturday.

Crain, a first-time federal offender, is serving his sentence for:

• break and enter with intent
• eight counts of failure to comply with an order
• two counts of assaulting a peace officer
• assault with intentional use of force
• flight from a peace officer
• two counts of taking a motor vehicle/vessel without consent
• two counts of failing to attend court
• mischief in relation to other property
• possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
• obstructing a public/peace officer

Crain is described as standing five-foot-11 and weighing 211 pounds. He has short brown hair and brown eyes.
