Police believe a man wanted for murder in Ontario may be in New Brunswick. Brayton Kennedy, 28, has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of a man in Perth, Ont. The victim was found badly injured in Last Duel Park the afternoon of April 12. Christo Allison Richards, 34, of Ottawa, later died in hospital. Arrest warrants were issued for Kennedy and another man, 34-year-old Joseph Madore, on charges of second-degree murder. They are both from Ottawa. Ontario Provincial Police said Thursday those charges have now been upgraded to first-degree murder, as a result of the ongoing investigation. Police also said they believe Kennedy is in New Brunswick, though they didn’t release any additional details. Investigators believe Madore is camping or travelling through remote areas of British Columbia. Kennedy is described as five-foot-10 and 260 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo on his forehead above his left eyebrow. Police say Kennedy should not be approached if spotted.
