Police in Saint John, N.B., say a man is in custody after he barricaded himself inside a home in the north end Wednesday night. The Saint John Police Force responded to a call for service on McClellan Street just before 6 p.m. Officers found a man at the scene who then barricaded himself inside a home. Emergency Tactical Service and negotiators also responded. McClellan Street between Highland Road and Pokiok Road were closed to traffic and residents in the area were asked to stay inside their homes.
