A list of all the Santa Claus parades in December across the Maritimes

Thousands of people lined the streets of downtown Fredericton on Saturday evening for the annual Santa Claus parade.

Santa Claus is keeping up appearances ahead of Christmas Day, with a busy calendar full of parades across the Maritimes.

Thousands of people lined the streets of downtown Fredericton on Saturday evening for the Kin Club of Nashwaaksis’ annual Santa Claus Parade, under the theme “An Old Fashioned Country Christmas.”

The event, which featured schools, businesses, and local organizations, also kicked off the McDonald’s Toy Drive. Toys and donations were collected along the parade route by Fredericton’s Bounce 105.3, Move 106.9, and Pure Country 103.5.

Santa Claus parades were also held this weekend in Annapolis Royal, N.S, Bridgewater, N.S., Charlottetown, Grand Bay-Westfield, N.B., Rothesay, N.B., Sherbrooke Village, N.S., the Spryfield area of Halifax, and Sydney, N.S.

Large Santa Claus parades were held earlier in November in Moncton, Saint John, and Halifax, but there are many more parade opportunities across the region in December:
