RENO, Nev. -- A 21-year-old woman in the U.S. has given birth to a boy on a Subway restaurant's restroom floor, where managers quickly placed sandwich wrappers and trash bags for sanitation.
Assistant manager Flora Vargas says the woman entered the restaurant Friday, screamed that she was in labour and hurried for the women's restroom.
Vargas says the woman gave birth several minutes later, and it was a relief that both the mother and baby appeared healthy.
Vargas says it was fortunate that paramedics arrived immediately after the birth.
