OAKVILLE, Ont. - Tim Hortons is making room beside coffee, doughnuts and sandwiches on its menu for lasagna.
The restaurant chain says it will unveil the new pasta to-go option with a beef lasagna casserole bowl starting Monday.
The move comes as Tim Hortons broadens its lunch menu in an attempt to keep customers from choosing competitors.
McDonald's has recently begun serving a broad selection of coffees alongside its regular menu while Starbucks offers an array of sandwiches and lunch packs.
Tim Hortons (TSX:THI) says the new product is intended to complement its hot soups and chili.
