You know how annoying it is when you think of the perfect Twitter handle, Instagram name or blog domain, only to find that someone else has got in there first? Well, imagine how hard it is for babies!

The next generation of internet lovers may not be able to walk yet, but that isn't putting parents off checking out which domain names are available before naming their little ones, with a little help from a new website.

Awesomebabyname.com scours the net to find combinations of first and last names that remain available as domain names. Parents are then presented with the best options so that they can make an informed choice when it comes to giving their baby a name.

The brainchild of Finbarr Taylor and Karen X. Cheng, Awesome Baby Name launched on August 3 and over 2,000 visitors used the service within 24 hours.

Prospective parents simply type in their child's last name and the website offers a host of .com options preceded by a first name. A link under each option leads visitors to actually purchase the domain name should they so wish.
