REGINA -- Saskatchewan Party leader Brad Wall says his platform is affordable, but the NDP is calling it "uninspiring" with "misplaced priorities."
Wall released the psrty's platform over the weekend and the six spending promises total just over $105 million. Wall says that's affordable even during the challenges posed by low oil prices.
He also promised to rebuild the province's rainy day fund when oil prices rise above US$75 dollars per barrel.
The NDP says in a news release that the Saskatchewan Party's platform still spends wildly on its own waste, noting Wall will "keep his endless stream of overpaid consultants" and won't sell the government's airplanes.
The NDP also repeated its criticism that the government drained the savings fund during what party leader Cam Broten called "the sunniest days" in the province.
