OTTAWA - A copy of the cellblock DVD showing Roxanne Carr's detention by Ottawa police will be released by city police and the Crown.

The video of the August 2008 detention was ordered released by an Ottawa judge last week, but the video went missing from the court's file.

Acting Chief Gilles Larochelle says a copy of the original images from digital hard drives related to Carr's time in the cellblock will be released.

Carr is suing police alleging her arm was broken during the arrest and she was left naked in the cellblock without medical attention.

Larochelle says he's satisfied that the cellblock officers handled Carr's detention with professionalism.

There is no word on when the video will be released.
