Pregnancy could feel like it’s never-ending for some women, while others say it flies by.

For one San Francisco couple, the miracle of life is captured in six seconds flat.

Photographer Ian Padgham documented his wife’s pregnancy over the full term, taking monthly photos of her growing belly.

His wife, Claire Pasquier, stood in the same spot in a bathroom and wore the same outfit for each photo.

The pictures were then complied into a six-second, time-lapse video, with the couple’s newborn baby making an appearance at the end of ‘The 9 Month Vine.’

The video has garnered nearly 40,000 likes and it’s been tweeted nearly 27,000 times.

Padgham has a reputation as a Vine artist, posting a number of creative pieces to the video-sharing service.
