On Monday an extract from an interview between Entertainment Weekly and co-creators John Fawcett and Graeme Manson was released online, revealing details about a new character in the upcoming season 4 of "Orphan Black".

A short teaser was also published by BBC America last week.

The fourth season of "Orphan Black" will premiere in April 2016 on BBC America in the US and Space in Canada. The series will see the addition of yet another female clone, described by creators as going by the name of M.K.: "A mysterious name for a mysterious character," says Manson.

M.K. is later characterized as "very elusive. And quite highly skilled and very smart" as well as "very paranoid. She's very security conscious."

A 15-second teaser released on Christmas Day shows only the robotic eye of what is assumed to be the clone Rachel, who received a replacement eye at the end of the previous series.
